Rickford Is Happy With Government Call

The Federal government has launched a call for expanding economic opportunities for women.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says the proposal stems from round table discussions that looked at key issues and barriers that women face.
Rickford says funding will be available for projects that will help women in the Kenora riding to remove barriers that prevent them from contributing fully to the growth of the economy in their communities.
He says the projects will also deal with unique challenges that women face that interfere with them adding to the growth in their businesses.
He adds he is pleased with the proposal.
