Rickford Looks Back On 2014

Investing in Northern Ontario.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says that was a big part of his job in 2014.
Rickford says there is more work to be done.
He’s looking at development for the Ring of Fire but overall says there is a general level of satisfaction from mayors and councils and First Nation communities around the investments.
Rickford says a lot of progress has been made to invest in Northern communities.
He says it’s been a great year overall for the region.
He notes FedNor has renewed its commitment to small towns and cities across the region.
Some infrastructure projects in the region include the re-building of the government docks in Vermilion Bay.
