Busy days ahead for the new Conservative government of Doug Ford.
Ford has put in place a transition team and will start looking at creating a new cabinet.
Incoming Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford is widely expected to get a cabinet post, but he says he’s not taking anything for granted.
He says first and foremost, his main priority is representing his constituents at Queen’s Park.
However, Rickford says he’s got lots of cabinet experience at the federal level and is willing to serve.
Rickford is a former Natural Resources Minister under the Stephen Harper government.
