Not a lot of activity in the Kenora-Rainy River riding, less than three month away from a provincial election.
Right now, Greg Rickford is the only confirmed candidate who has stepped forward to replace MPP Sarah Campbell, who has announced she won’t seek re-election for the NDP.
With the PC party finally on the same page, Rickford says he’s ready to go saying they’ll relaunch their campaign and celebrate the achievements of their past and what they have to look forward to.
Rickford has held campaign launches in Fort Frances and Kenora and plans to hold similar events shortly in Dryden, Ignace and Vermilion Bay.
Matt Soprovich is vying for the NDP candidacy.
