The latest on the Dryden Fire Fire Fighters dispute will highlight discussions at Council tonight, but there will another topic may grab some attention.
George’s Taxi is asking Council to consider allowing another two tags for their use to continue service in the community.
In a notice to the City, George’s says wait times on busy days can be up to 30-minutes or more and there is an increased demand for out of town trips.
The company is also asking rates to be raised by 14-percent, with a drop rate of 5-dollars and 25-cents and 2-dollars and 60-cents per kilometre.
A hike in the minimum wage is being cited.
