The 10th Annual Ride for Memories was a roaring success this past Saturday with over $36,000 raised for the Alzheimer’s Society of our area.
Over 160 motorcycles from across the area took part, with riders from Dryden, Kenora, Fort Frances, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout and even Thunder Bay taking part in the one-day run and poker derby.
While some faced heavy rain during the morning, once the bikes left Dryden at noon, it was clear driving to Ignace and then back to Sioux Lookout where the host committee held a banquet and social.
The 2013 Ride for Memories will end in Dryden.
