Ring Of Fire Could Be In Jeopardy According To NDP

The NDP at Queen’s Park is saying the Ring of Fire mining development is in deep trouble with news that Cliffs Natural Resources is likely selling off its huge chromite deposit.
Michael Mantha says the move is a direct result of what he believes is the Wynne government’s inability to move the Development Corporation forward in a timely manner
Mantha says he’s not surprised by the development since the government has not been having meaningful discussions with the industry and First Nations.
