Ring of Fire Development in Far North

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency is accepting public comments on the proposed Eagle’s Nest project in the Ring of Fire.
Noront Resources is proposing a base-metal mining project about 500 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay.
The agency has draft environmental impact statement guidelines that identify the project’s potential environmental effects.
It says public comments on the draft guidelines will be reviewed and considered before the document is finalized.
The deadline for public comments is December 16th.
