Ring Of Fire Minister Confident About Future

The Federal Minister responsible for the Ring of Fire in northern Ontario is confident that progress on the project will be made in the new year.
Greg Rickford says despite some of the back-and-forth between the province and the feds, he continues to work closely with Northern Development and Mines Minister Michael Gravelle.
Rickford admits the Ring of Fire poses some challenges but notes the light is shining on Noront and the proposed creation of an east-west road corridor.
He says they are happy with some of the advancements on power corridors and road development.
