Road Upgrades in Sioux Lookout

Reconstructing Drayton Road and Sturgeon Road in Sioux Lookout as well
as improving a section of road from Second Street to Second Avenue in
Hudson are all planned this year.
Council has deemed the projects top priorites as part of a $657,000 road construction plan.
Meanwhile, Mayor Cathy Kiepick stresses a lot of work lies ahead to
handle future growth.
Kiepick says expanding water lines to new properties is one of the
major challenges as well as securing the necessary infrastructure to
accomodate the new hospital that will be built in Sioux Lookout.
