Road Washouts In Sioux Lookout District

Heavy and constant rain has caused some issues for roads in the Sioux Lookout area.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says several road washouts are reported on some resource access roads.
The MNR says the public should avoid traveling on remote access roads as the washouts pose a risk to traveler safety.
Shawn Burke says motorists shouldn’t attempt to cross any submerged roads.
Burke adds signs will be posted where known washouts have been observed.
