Roger Valley Thrilled With Leadership Result

The President of the Kenora Riding Liberal Association says the land-slide win by Justin Trudeau yesterday shows Canadians want to vote for something positive.
Trudeau is the new leader of the Federal Liberals after receiving 80% support in first ballot voting.
Roger Valley, who supported Trudeau during the campaign, states it’s a new beginning for his party.
Valley says Trudeau brings fresh ideas and positive change.
Valley notes he was surprised by the margin of victory, but stresses it shows Liberals are attracted to him and see a lot of promise in him.
He adds the search is now on for a suitable candidate to run locally in the next Federal election.
Valley is also working on having Trudeau visit the riding.
