The troubled suspension bridge project has received new life thanks to $21,000 from an anonymous donor.
Council voted 4-1 Monday night in favour of moving ahead with a scaled-down version, 2-weeks after agreeing to scrap the project because of a $21,000 shortfall.
Dennis Wintle says he can’t support the project until he see’s the final price-tag.
The bridge over the Wabigoon River was supposed to be constructed over the summer, but was delayed due to cost overruns.
Council warns they won’t spend another dime of taxpayer money on the tourist attraction.
