Ron Bergman Running For Mayor of Ear Falls

A challenge between the old and new when it comes to mayoral race in Ear Falls.
Past mayor Ron Bergman is challenging incumbent Kevin Kahoot.
Bergman says during his term from 2006-2010 the town built a brand new 8.2 million dollar multiplex facility, that encompasses all the departments within the municipality,
He also says the town was able to get 100 per cent funding for a new medical center, that cost over 3 million dollars.
Bergman says his vision for Ear Falls is a prosperous growing community that creates a situation of sustainability that’s always looking for other sources of economic development.
He believes the town should retain an efficiency expert, to identify areas where the town could save money.
Bergman also wants to clear the air when it comes to rumours.
He says there are people in town saying that if he’s elected, he will drive the English River Miners out of town and close the arena.
Bergman says that he has never suggested doing either of those things.
He adds that all aspects of recreation are very important to the well-being of the community.
