RR School Board worried about work to rule

Public elementary teachers in the Rainy River District remain in a work-to-rule campaign due to stalled contract negotiations.

That concerns the public school board and Director of Education Warren Hoshizacki hopes the two sides are able to reach an agreement soon.

The elementary teachers federation maintains students are not being impacted since the work-to-rule campaign involves administrative duties outside the classroom.

Secondary teachers are also in the midst of a contract dispute but have not yet decided to work-to-rule.
