Rubicon Minerals Names New Senior VP

Howard Bird is the new Vice-President of Exploration for Rubicon Minerals
Bird will oversee a massive gold project in Red Lake.
Gold production is expected to start in the middle of next year with a nearly 1,300 tonne per day operation.
The company says Bird will help them unlock the exploration potential in the area.
He brings more than 25-years of experience to the job, including 15 at the executive management level.
Bird was the senior vice-president of exploration and geology at Brigus Gold where he led a team in the recent discovery of 3-gold deposits at the Grey Fox project.
