A 59 year old Winnipeg woman is dead following a bicycle accident in Rushing River Provincial Park.
The O.P.P. say Mary-Lou Hadden had been camping with her family in the park over the Labor Day weekend.
They had gone out for a bike ride along a paved road through the park last Saturday, when the woman lost control riding down a steep hill.
She wasn’t wearing a bike helmet at the time and hit her head on the pavement.
Police say she sustained severe head trauma and was taken to hospital in Winnipeg for treatment.
She died as a result of her injuries on Wednesday.
