Thunder Bay North Stars forward Ryan Mignault has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
The recently acquired forward returned to his hometown to amass a combined 11-points in three North Stars road wins on the weekend.
Since being acquired from the Mellville Millionaires of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, the 19-year-old has 13-points in five games.
Thunder Bay is riding a five game winning streak.
Jacob Gnidziejko, the new goalie for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs, as well as Kyle Rosolowski of the English River Miners also received consideration.
