Safer Communities Funding for Dryden Police

The Dryden Police Service is welcoming additional funding from the ‘Safer Communities 1,000 Officers Partnership Program.
The cash allowed the police force to hire 1-new officer, with the Province paying for the officer’s salary over a 2-year period.
The extra help has allowed the Municipal force to re-deploy an officer to the Criminal Investigations Branch to focus on illegal grow operations and organized trafficking crimes.
