Sarah Campbell Demanding Answers From MNR

The MPP for Kenora-Rainy River says the Province needs to fully disclose its plans for the Ministry of Natural Resources.
This week the government announced layoff plans across the region and Ontario.
Sarah Campbell says it’s vital that the Minister come forward with its long-term plan.
Campbell says the government has announced layoffs across the north, but is turning around to say we will benefit in the long run with additional jobs.
Campbell says there’s nothing but confusion on how many jobs will be lost.
The NDP member says the public and the industry both have the right to know how these cuts will impact them.
Campbell adds says the Ministry has already botched cuts, such as those to the Bearwise program and the decision to outsource MNR jobs to the United States.
She stresses the Province continues to turn its back on northwestern Ontario.
