Sarah Campbell Named NDP Candidate

Sarah Campbell will represent the NDP in Kenora-Rainy River as their candidate in the upcoming Provincial election.
The constituency assistant to MPP Howard Hampton beat out Kenora lawyer Robert Sinding following a series of nomination meetings that concluded Monday night in Fort Frances.
Campbell says a strong team is already in place to help her win the riding.
Campbell plans to open campaign offices across the Riding, as well as using social media to reach out to voters.
The Oxdrift resident admits she’s got big shoes to fill in taking over from Howard Hampton but stresses that the NDP have an exceptional platform for this Riding.
A total of 137 ballots were cast, but no results were given.
