The Province has asked the Northwestern Health Unit to
be one of four pilot sites that will review the mandatory
program indicator questionnaires.
The survey looks at what mandatory services are being
offered by health units.
Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Pete Sarsfield says it’s
hard for them to answer because some services are offered
in the larger municipalities, but not in the smaller ones.
N063 Q:”…else.” 19 secs
Sarsfield adds the current MPIQ’s are non-sense, because
the questions do not reflect the Health Unit’s large
service area.
The revised surveys are expected late 2007, early 2008.
