Dr Pete Sarsfield is applauding word that the Province is finally going
to take steps to fight smoking.
By 2006, Health Minister George Smitherman wants rules in place banning
smoking in all public & workplaces including private clubs, bars,
restaruants & casinos.
While glad to hear the news, Sarsfield wishes the Liberals were moving
a bit faster…

The Medical Officer of Health says he has heard through the grapevine
that the Health Units’ efforts fighting 2nd hand smoke had at least
something to do with the issue getting more attention from Queen’s Park.
