Saturday is looking like a perfect day to be outside and why not head to Camp Brigitte on Highway 601.
A fundraiser for the Field family is taking place starting at 4 o’clock with games, activities and a wiener roast.
Candace Field and Camp owner Natalie Bedard were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday.
Bedard says it was an easy decision to help the Field family.
She says tickets are $5 and available at Kupper’s as well at Camp Brigitte.
Candance says her 17-year-old daughter Lexi has had to endure a life of major surgeries and she’s scheduled to have another one shortly in Montreal.
Lexi has had 22-surgeries on her feet and one heart surgery.
There were fears she would never walk again.
Donation boxes are also set up at Kupper’s and Lotto One.
