Northwestern Ontario Paramedics, Firefighters and
Communications Officers are being recognized for their
role in saving lives.
Since 2005, local paramedics have saved 14 people in a
pre-hospital care setting.
Dr. Andrew Affleck says the region’s paramedics should
be proud of their efforts.

The three people who were saved in the Kenora area,
include residents of Fort Frances, Ignace, and Dryden.
