A new study by the Canadian Boreal Initiative shows many
Water fowl, Warbler, and Finch species of bird rely heavily
on the region’s forest for survival.
Director of Bird Conservation Gregor Beck says we should
start worrying about our own forests and species, rather
than focusing on the Rain forest.

Beck adds the CBI study is being presented to government
officials, and forest industry companies.
The CBI hopes to work with both groups to help preserve
many of the species living in the Boreal forest.
