The Birds

A new study on the many species of birds living in the

Canadian Boreal Forest suggests Scoter and Scaup Ducks are

slowly becoming endangered.

The Canadian Boreal Initiative ordered the report, and

Director of Bird Conservation Gregor Beck says there are a

number of solutions to the growing problem.

The study says over 63 percent of Finch, 80% of Water

Fowl, and 53% of the Warbler bird species rely heavily on

the Boreal forest for survival.

The CBI plans to speak to both the government and forest

industry about the report findings.
