Another scam to look out for has reached our area.
The CKDR Newsroom has received multiple calls about a scam that involves a text message claiming the recipient is being given some money.
The text will also include a link that claims to lead to an e-transfer to collect the money.
Residents are being reminded to not click on mysterious links from numbers they do not recognize and to not enter in any personal information.
