Scarecrow Fever

The Dryden District Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for another scarecrow festival this fall.
Tentative dates are October 14th to the 26th.
Chamber Vice-Chair Ryan Murrell says the best scarecrows will once again receive prizes and more fun is planned to celebrate the event.
However, Murrell also wants Dryden to get a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most scarecrows in one city.
The record is now held by a city in Portugal with 1113 scarecrows.
