A Dryden High School student has picked up one of Canada’s most
prestigious scholarships.
Pickle Lake resident Patrick Hoffman received a $4,000
Millennium Excellence award in recognition of his community involvement,
academic achievement and leadership skills.
Hoffman says he is proud to be involved in a number of activities.

Hoffman will be taking a Life Sciences course at Queen’s University
this Fall and hopes to return to Northern Ontario to work as a Doctor in the
future.
