School Board Gets Money to Improve Student Skills

The Keewatin Patricia District School Board will receive almost 89 thousand dollars from the Ministry of Education – money that is targeted at improving Education, Quality and Accountability test results among students.

The Minister of Education says the money is intended to provide more resources to schools where students need to improve reading, writing and math skills.

The KPDSB offers early literacy and oral language programs to improve students performance in those areas.
