School Board Plan

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has high hopes for its
students in 2006-2007.
The curriculum implementation and professional development plan has
been released outlining 5-areas the Board would like to improve on.
Superintendent of Education Wendy Wiedenhoft says 1-area is literacy and numeracy.
The Board is looking for significant jumps in reading, writing and
math results at all grade levels.
She says the Board also hopes to close the gap between aboriginal and
non-aboriginal students.
