The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has a $700,000
surplus after paying off its energy retrofits at Dryden High and Beaver
Brae Secondary.
Superintendent of Business Dean Carrie says the transfered the money
into reserves, leaving their operating budget at zero.
Carrie says the move will help the Board in future negotiations with the Ministry of Education.
