School Board Reacts to Provincial Budget

The Rainy-River District School Board received both good news and bad news from the recent Provincial budget.
School Board Chair Dan Belluz says a long-awaited transportation funding formula was viewed as a positive step.
However, Belluz adds the phase-in funding is disappointing because it will not cover total costs for transportation in the next school year.
However, the Board will receive $96,000 to help in the reduction of class sizes.
