Trustees with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board have approved a new strategic plan with hundreds of goals and strategies identified.
Linking Elementary Schools to Video-Conferencing and enhancing literacy and numeracy initiatives are among the highlights in this years report.
The Public Board’s goal is to be in the top 20% in the Province when it comes to student achievement.
The latest Provincial indicators will be released at the Board’s November 9th meeting.
Director of Education Janet Wilkenson says aboriginal issues were an area of concern identified in the previous strategic plan and she feels progress has been made on that front.
