School Board Welcomes Funding

The Provincial Liberals didn’t break all their campaign promises according to the education sector.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is welcoming an extra $2 billion over 4 years for Ontario Board’s.
Director of Education Janet Wilkenson says they are still trying to nail down some specifics including the funding allocation and details on a pledge to cap class sizes.
Wilkenson says more money is needed on school renewal and literacy programs.
