All school buses have been cancelled Tuesday.
Buses aren’t running in Dryden, Vermilion Bay, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Ear Falls, Ignace, Upsala, Kenora and Sioux Narrows.
All schools remain open.
Road conditions in Kenora are extremely treacherous and conditions are expected to deteriorate quickly across the region as the day proceeds.
High winds are also causing poor visibility in some areas.
A Special Weather Statement is in place in Red Lake, Ear Falls and Sioux Lookout.
Those areas could see 5-10 centimetres of snow.
All highways are open, but police are urging extreme caution.
My Lift bus service in Dryden is also not running today.
