School buses across our district won’t be running Tuesday morning.
Facded with poor weather weather and road conditions, the Student Services Consortium made the call just before 10 Monday evening.
My Lift Bus service in Dryden is also cancelled Tuesday.
Text of Release:
“Please be aware that many areas remain under a snowfall warning with snow and freezing rain expected overnight (occurring now in some areas).
Road conditions remain poor in all area and we don’t anticipate much change in the morning. We know that clearing will not be done in many areas as well.
Please be advised that school buses will be cancelled in the following areas
(entire system except Pickle Lake which will be assessed in the morning):
Kenora/Sioux Narrows
Red Lake/Ear Falls
Dryden/Vermilion Bay
Sioux Lookout
Ignace/Upsala
ALL SCHOOLS REMAIN OPEN.
