A well known figure in the regional Public School system addressed one of Southern Ontario’s largest Board’s on the weekend.
Eagle River resident Trudy Griffith was a keynotes speaker at the Niagara School District Conference.
Griffith says she wanted to relay the message that our Board deals with a vast geography which has helped them improve student learning.
She says School Councils need to look at innovative ways to enhance student learning and to stay ahead of changing times.
Griffith adds she wanted to stress that the role of Councils goes beyond a small group of parents sitting around a table talking.
