The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will be going ahead with just two small capital projects this year.
Trustees met last night and agreed to spend 460 thousand dollars to do roof repairs to Lilian Berg School in Vermillion Bay and Red Lake District High School.
A decision to go ahead with a four million dollar renovation project at Beaver Brae School in Kenora was put on hold, because there was not enough funding.
Superintendant of Finance, Dean Carrie says while the public school board recieved capital moneny from the province, most of the Beaver Brae project is not eligible for the funding.
