Kenora OPP have confirmed a 23 year old man was killed
in a two vehichle accident earlier today just west of
Richard Lake.
The incident occured just before noon when a westbound
tractor-trailer unit and an eastbound car collided.
Highway 17 east between Kenora and Vermillion Bay was
closed this afternoon in both directions for two hours, and
is now open to one lane.
Police will not be releasing the deceased’s identity,
until the next of kin is notified.
