School Water Testing

Concerns about lead in the water of some schools in Atikokan and Fort Frances has prompted the Rainy River District School Board to take action.
Murray Quinn, plant operations manager, says the board is waiting for test results since six schools in Rainy River District get their water from wells.
Quinn says the board is also testing for metal content which is showing results below acceptable levels.
The province introduced stiff water guidelines following the Walkerton Water Disaster.
