The O.P.P.’s Marine Unit is searching for two men missing on Lake of the Woods.
Police say two men were discovered on two separate islands in Sabaskong Bay yesterday afternoon.
They were fishing with two other friends Wednesday night
when their boat hit something in the lake and all four anglers were thrown into the water.
None of the men were wearing life-jackets, but two of the
men were able to use seat cushions and swim to shore.
There has been no sign of the other two men.
The O.P.P. say their Marine Unit is being assisted by local volunteers, Lake of the Woods Search and Rescue,
the Northwest Emergency Response Unit and an O.P.P. helicopter.
All four men are from the Big Grassy/Morson area.
