RCMP are searching for a missing 38-year-old Fisher Branch, Manitoba man in Whiteshell Provincial Park.
Police say on Monday afternoon, the man entered the Winnipeg River near Strawberry Island in an attempt to retrieve a boat that had blown away.
He failed to return to shore.
The Mounties says it’s not possible to navigate their boat on that section of the river right now due to the low water levels, so a helicopter has been dispatched to conduct an aerial search.
