It was a day of learning for teachers and administration of the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
Dryden hosted a Summer Institute Wednesday at DHS and the Centre.
More than 100 people took part in the session.
Michelle Parrish is the Teaching and Learning Instructional Lead for the Board.
Parrish says the purpose was to communicate the latest developments at the Board level and connect everyone with contemporary models of instruction and assessment.
Delegates were also updated on the latest technology.
Parrish says they wanted everyone in one room to share ideas and best practices of learning.
Delegates were also treated to a Virtual Reality Tour of cultural and educational institutions.
Doctor Alex Couros was the keynote speaker.
Couros is the head of Educational Technology and Media at the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina.
He is widely recognized as an international leader in the field of educational technology as well as a pioneer in the area of open education.
