RBC Out With Survey Ahead Of New School Year

According to a new survey from the Royal Bank of Canada, students have a lot of concerns about money as they prepare to return to classes for another academic year.

The poll found financial stress was common among all students but especially women with more than one-quarter saying managing money was a major factor.

For most students, performing well in classes and being financially independent were also top of mind.

Half of the respondents said having enough money to enjoy a comfortable life was key to being happy.

As it turns out, money is actually an even bigger factor than planning their future or finding a job in their chosen field.
