The Ford Government is reducing natural gas costs starting October 1st.
Energy Minister Greg Rickford and Premier Doug Ford made the announcement on Wednesday.
Rickford and Ford say the savings will come from the elimination of the carbon tax.
Consumers will save around $80 a year on their natural gas bills.
Rickford predicts that for the average small business, savings could be in the range of $285 a year.
Ford says he promised to lower the cost of living in Ontario, noting “promises made, promises kept”.
