Seatbelts will soon be found on buses in Canada.
Transport Canada is making them mandatory for all new medium and large highway buses beginning September 1, 2020.
The new law does not apply to school buses although operators can voluntarily install them as long as they meet federal guidelines.
Smaller buses, weighing under 45-hundred kilograms, already have lap and shoulder belts.
