Dryden Council isn’t throwing its support behind an Association of Municipalities of Ontario resolution on the state of NAFTA renegotiations.
AMO is asking communities to endorse a recommendation that AMO stands together with the Federal and Ontario governments in their efforts to protect Canadian jobs and local economies.
Mayor Greg Wilson says they support local and national jobs, but aren’t in favour with one key component of the dispute which is when governments get involved and start trying to dictate the price of products through tariffs, we end up not knowing what something will cost.

He mentions that if somebody can produce something in a more low-cost fashion, then they will get the market-share.
