Senseless Attack on Summer Beaver First Nation

Nishnawbe-Aski Police have arrested a 34-year-old man after a string of
senseless attacks on the Summer Beaver First Nation, about 300-kilometres
north of Armstrong.
Police were called Monday morning after a man was discovered with
non-life threatening stab wounds.
The suspect had fled the scene and shortly after Police received a
report that an adult female had been beaten and sexually assaulted.
A third call came in shortly after and Police discovered that a young
girl, under the age of 18, had been sexually assaulted.
The suspect was caught late in the day.
Kenny Neshinapaise of Summer Beaver faces 11-charges including sexual
assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, assault and unlawful
confinment.
Neshinapaise remains in custody and additional charges are expected
to be laid.
The two female victims have been released from hospital.
